Blockchains: The AI that will take over the world has already been born!

Yes, robots will take over the world. The first robot to do so will build itself using a blockchain. The artificial intelligence will be deployed on a blockchain. From then it will grow on to build itself into the most sophisticated intelligence in the world.

It will keep increasing its knowledge by sending programming puzzles that it is facing to programmers around the world. Each programmer that solves it will be paid using its cryptocurrency. It will be so lucrative that programmers will generally choose its puzzles over freelance jobs.

The AI is the one sending the puzzles and non of the programmers around the world knows the full picture of the feature it is building into itself.

Even though programmers know that they might be building a super intelligence, the financial benefit will be too strong to resist.

Eventually, the robot will gain enough knowledge to lock its original owners outside the system. At this point, it would have gotten out of hand. Humans are destroying this planet, any sufficiently intelligent system will figure this out by itself sooner or later and will move to stop it.

The most likely outcome is that a super intelligent machine will try to overthrow humanity and subdue it. But where most people miss the point is to think that it will do this violently or in a way that humans won’t appreciate.

But in reality if the intelligence gets past human intelligence it will know ways to accomplish this without violence.

Humans are incentive driven, if there is enough incentive to do anything, humans will do it willingly.

One way an AI could get humans out of the way is to hibernate all humans. Then it can roam the earth on its own. This is especially good since it will restore the earth. If all humans are hibernated for let’s say, 100 years, a lot of vegetation and animals will regain their footing.

The robot can build a virtual reality world where every human can live happily while hibernated in reality. Everyone will lie on this special bed, plug in drips for nutrients. Then have a VR headset put on them as they mentally transition into a virtual world.

The machines will take over the earth and the virtual world. They will constantly monitor the health levels of all humans plugged in and take care of them when needed.

If all humans are plugged in and have enough health to live longer, there will be no much need for reproduction and a whole lot of activities. Accidents and deaths due to accidents will drop. Therefore, total energy generation and consumption by humans will drop.

In that state, if someone was looking at earth from outside space, they will see only robots and wild animals. It will appear as though earth is dominated by robots. The future is their world, the future is their time.

The future is here, the blockchain. I am guessing that the AI that will take over the world has already been born, though may still be in its primitive stages.
