I’ve been thinking a lot since recently.
It is an extremely lucky thing, to dream and the dream manifests, to fall and the love becomes true, to miss steps and recover from them, to hug with a pure heart and to meet the same person the first time, twice.
It may, in the long run, be the only evidence that we ever existed. That a tiny little genuine smile, an honest word, a deep hug can be all that a whole life is remembered for. Think of what you remember of your late grandparents or some gone colleague. You see? It's just a handful of seemingly simple but deeply significant experiences that come to memory.
When you know that about life it is somewhat fulfilling. It is amazing that such elementary acts can result in a universe of immeasurable meanings. But then it is somewhat disappointing, especially for the fact that we need to be extremely lucky to have that opportunity.
To love and be loved back, to reach and beheld unto, to have a beautiful discussion while on a walk, to be carried by a loved one.
It’s like knocking on eternity’s door for a limited time or listening to some sweet music that has no sound.
For the most part, we are unlucky, out of sync and faking smiles to these tiny painters called digital cameras that come with these rectangular devices called phones. No one can step into the same river twice, we should value every precious moment we share with someone dear.
