True life story. I’d never buy edible herbal concoctions from those roadside native doctors.
I have always had this scar that refused to go away. I have spent so much money on pharmacies for it.
Black, long slash. Everyone always wanted to know what caused it.
But one day I was fixing my car and bought a concoction out of boredom. The mechanic was wasting time when the native doctor walked into the park.
“baba” he called me “I have something that will make your manhood stand for 3 hours so you can perform well.”
I shook my head. But he defiantly tried again.
“i have something that you will wear on your waist that will protect you against STDs”.
I was like duh.
Then he tried one last time.
“I have something that will disappear this your scar in one week.”
That instantly caught my attention, “how? What is it?”

He brought out a tiny plastic container that had a waxy, sticky liquid inside it.
“Apply this once a day on the affected area and give me testimony after one week, N200 only”.
I didn’t see it as a risk since it’s not something I have to ingest though I know people that have died from drinking drugs bought from the roadside.
I bought it and in my usual fashion gave him an extra tip of one thousand naira. Something in me told me to collect his number but the other me didn’t agree to having a babalawo’s contact.

To cut the story short, I got home, applied it on the affected area, woke up the next morning and the scar was 20% gone!

I was like damn!
Then I applied it again, and by the 3rd day, my scar was completely gone.

Till today, I am still looking for that native doctor. I want to apply his wax on my debts :D
