The creativity challenge

Last week, while I was getting measured for a material I brought, I told my tailor and her kids over 15 times that I don’t care what style they sew. But they won’t stop asking.

Tailor: so what style do you want?

Me: I don’t know, I don’t care. Just sew anything.

Tailor’s daughter: so should the hand be long or short?

Me: I don’t know, I don’t care, just sew anything.

Just do what you want and give me the bill.

Tailor’s son: is it round or V-neck?

Me: bro, I don’t know, I don’t care, just sew anything. Just do what you want and give me the bill.

Tailor: do you want it to go down or stop at your waist level?

Me: I fucking don’t care, just sew anything.

Just do what you want and give me the bill.

Another daughter : the chest, should I put designs?

Me: I don’t know I don’t care. Just do what you want and give me the bill.

Tailor: should we sew it like senator style or agbadakfhfkskfhs style?

Me: I don’t know oo, just sow whatever and give me the bill, I’ll pay.

Etc

Fake news customer service. I can see clearly how the entire squad of Tailor’s are unable to listen.

How can they grow if they can’t even understand and interpret shii that they hear?

Their brains were so tuned to receiving design instructions from customers that the very first time they are told to use their imagination, it became a challenge for the whole family at once..

Note: I eventually chose a style because while I was about to leave, one of the daughter’s ran up to me clutching her phone, she opened her phone gallery where they had different designs.

“sir, so you prefer this design or that other one”.

I pointed at the very first one without looking.
