In the middle of the Vietnam war in 1966, Dieter Dengler a US pilot was shot down, captured, and imprisoned in Vietnam for 6 months.

He had to hide tiny rations of food in his prison cell so he can eat and survive.

One day, he and his fellow prison mates overhead some of the guards saying that they have run out of food for the prisoners and we’re discussing how to kill the prisoners.

He escaped and spent 23 days in the jungle running from the pursuing Vietnamese soldiers.

He was later rescued by a US rescue team, given a medal of honor, and lived happily in the US till old age.

His family said that until he died, he still steals food rations from his own kitchen and hides them at different spots in the house.

It is amazing how the human brain changes after being conditioned in a certain way. Just 6 months of conditioning permanently changed the way his mind works.

The reason you aren’t able to come up with successful business ideas could be how your mind was conditioned to think from childhood by unsuccessful parents.
Some people cannot maintain a smooth relationship for long without introducing chaos because, at some point in their life, they experienced chaos in such a way that it permanently impacted them.
There are people that just can’t stop lying, it has become second nature to them, they just can’t control it. Many people who inflict domestic violence on their partners suffered such from their parents while growing up.

The point is, may people were conditioned for failure, no matter how hard they try, they’ll still revert to reflex actions beyond their own control.

Conditioning is not only a negative thing, it can be a positive thing too. Many people became great because there was one period in their lives when they spent time under someone else that positively impacted them.

Many people’s lives have changed because one day, they read a book that reconfigured the way their mind works.

Everything we go through affects the way we think, some mildly, some seriously. And there s no guarantee that the affected person will even know that they were affected. The fact that you can’t even change your accent easily shows how solidly your brain has been set on the training you were raised with.

Is there any area of your life where you are stealing and hiding your own food rations?
Is there something you can do to overcome that now that you have identified it?
