You have already been advised correctly

A reminder that Anthony Joshua would still have been a bricklayer if he had not taken his cousin’s advice to get in the gym and join boxing.
His cousin got permanent eye damage from boxing and decided to quit. But before he quit, he advised Joshua to join the gym since he had a slightly better physique.
The young British bricklayer Joshua took that advise like it was divine. Till today, in every of Joshua’s fights, he always keeps that his cousin, Ben Illeyemi, by his corner. It doesn’t matter how many other world-class professionals that come into his life, Joshua knows very well that his cousin is his torchbearer and has to always reserve a special place for him in his corner.
Someone from your friends and family has already advised you on the right path to take in life, but your strong head won’t allow you to shine. Sometimes it is even a complete stranger you are meeting for the first time. Some people follow the advise but discard the adviser after they register their first success, that’s how musicians become a one hit wonder.
But you are still waiting for them to succeed first before you can go try it out.
